Welcome to TravelwithMkay. These Terms and Conditions  govern your use of our website travelwithmkay.co.ke and any services, products, content, coaching or resources we provide (together, the “Services”).

By accessing our website, booking a call, purchasing a product, or using any of our Services, you  agree to be bound by these Terms and our other policies, including our Privacy Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

Important: TravelwithMkay is a travel coaching and educational service. We are not a travel agency or tour operator. You remain responsible for your own bookings, visas, safety and travel decisions.

4. Booking, payments & scheduling

1. Booking process

Coaching calls are usually booked by first completing payment through our payment provider (e.g. Pesapal – including M-Pesa / card – or other gateways we may add), and then scheduling a time via our calendar tool (e.g. Calendly). Your booking is only confirmed once both payment and scheduling are complete.

2. Payments

All payments are processed securely by third-party payment processors. We do not store your full payment card details. You are responsible for any bank, currency conversion or transaction charges that may apply in your country.

3. Prices & currency

Prices are indicated in the currency stated on the sales or booking page at the time of purchase. We may change prices at any time; however, the price confirmed at checkout will apply to your purchase.

4. Cancellations & refunds

Cancellations, rescheduling and refunds for coaching calls, programmes and digital products are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By purchasing or booking with us, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to that policy.

5. No chargebacks in place of communication

If you experience any issue with a product or service, you agree to contact us first to attempt a resolution before initiating any chargeback with your bank or payment provider.

5. Coaching relationship & disclaimer (we are not a travel agency)

1. Coaching, not agent services

TravelwithMkay provides coaching, education and guidance to help you plan and experience travel more confidently. We do not act as a travel agent, tour operator, airline, hotel, insurance provider, visa consultant or any other regulated travel intermediary.

2 .You make your own travel decisions

All decisions regarding destinations, routes, bookings, timing, budgets, visas, vaccinations, travel companions and activities are entirely your responsibility. Any suggestions or examples shared during coaching are for guidance and inspiration only and do not constitute professional legal, medical, financial or security advice.

3. Third-party bookings & services

You may choose to book flights, accommodation, tours, insurance or other services with third-party providers we mention or link to. These third parties are solely responsible for their own products and services. We are not a party to your contract with them and are not liable for any act, omission, delay, cancellation, overbooking, injury, loss or damage caused by them.

9. Digital products, access & intellectual property

1. Licence to use

When you purchase a digital product (e.g. PDF guide, checklist, workbook), you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it for your own private, non-commercial purposes. You may not share, resell, upload, distribute or reproduce our materials for others without written permission.

2. Content ownership

All content on our website and within our Services – including text, logos, images, graphics, videos, audio, PDFs, and branding – is owned by TravelwithMkay or used under licence. Unauthorised copying, distribution, modification or public display of our materials may violate copyright or other laws.

10. Testimonials & success stories

We may share client stories, testimonials or case studies on our site and social media.

If you provide a testimonial, you grant us permission to use your words (and, if agreed, your first name and/or photo) for marketing in line with our Privacy Policy. You can request removal in future by contacting us.

11. Affiliate links & recommendations

Sometimes we may recommend or link to tools, apps, services or products (e.g. eSIMs, luggage, booking sites). Some of these links may be affiliate links, meaning we may earn a small commission if you purchase through them, at no extra cost to you.

We only share recommendations we believe may be genuinely useful, but we do not control these third-party sites or offers. You are responsible for reviewing their terms, conditions and privacy policies before purchasing.
