Not an inheritance. Not a sponsorship. Not a job that flew her around the world. One ordinary flight out of Nairobi, and then a decision to keep going.
Ninety-nine countries later she was standing in Malabo. On number one hundred she landed in São Tomé and Príncipe, made her way out to the foot of Pico Cão Grande, and put her arms in the air.
